Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies (vegan)

 

If you are looking for a way to indulge your sweet tooth and not feel guilty afterwards, try these.  They are simple to make, taste great, are kid approved and you’ll feel good about eating them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS
2 ripe medium bananas
1 cup old fashion oatmeal
1/4 cup chocolate chip (Trader Joe’s sells vegan chocolate chips)
Pinch of sea salt
*optional up to 2 tsp cinnamon.  I recommend trying these with the
cinnamon first.  It really gives them a little extra something.

DIRECTIONS
1. Pre heat oven to 350
2. Line cookie sheet with silicon non-stick baking sheet or parchment paper or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray
3. Mash bananas with a fork, then add other ingredients and stir until combined
4. Put one heaping tablespoon of mixture onto prepared cookie sheet
and press down to make them flat (vs a big mound)
5. Bake for about 15 minutes
6. Cool and enjoy!
